Privacy Policy
Effective: May 18, 2026
Timepoint AI ("we", "us", "our") operates timepointai.com, the web application at app.timepointai.com, the Skip Meetings product at skipmeetings.com, related APIs, and our iOS app. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information across all of these surfaces.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide:
- Account information — email address, name, and authentication identifiers from sign-in providers (Google, Apple, GitHub) or password sign-up
- Form submissions — waitlist, developer interest, demo request, and contact forms (including company and role for enterprise inquiries)
- Simulation queries and goals — historical-render requests submitted to Flash, future-simulation queries submitted to Pro Cloud (SNAG), and free-form goals submitted to the Find Money pipeline
- Character chat messages — text you send to AI-rendered characters in the web app
- Selections and ratings — opportunities you pick during a Find Money run, strategies you mark, and any feedback you submit on generated content
- Client and agency data (B2B) — when you use the agency workspace at
/clients, the client organizations, goals, and notes you create are stored against your account
- Payment information — handled by our payment processors (Stripe for web/subscription, Apple In-App Purchase for iOS). We never see full card numbers
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, simulation parameters, generation outcomes, timestamps
- Device data: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, app version (iOS)
- Network data: IP address, approximate location (country/region level)
- Error and performance telemetry via our observability stack (Sentry for crash reporting, PostHog for product analytics, Logfire for backend tracing)
Information collected from third parties (entity grounding):
- When you submit a query that references real people, organizations, or places, we may enrich the entity with publicly available information from web search, the X/Twitter API, and other public sources to improve the realism of generated content. We do not store private personal data about third parties beyond what is publicly available, and grounded entities are tagged with their sources and timestamps.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve our services: Flash (historical rendering), Pro Cloud (SNAG future simulation), the Find Money pipeline (opportunity sourcing → quick-sim → deep-sim), character chat, image generation, candy portfolios (shareable result tokens), the agency workspace, the Clockchain (causal graph storage), and Skip Meetings
- To authenticate you, maintain your session, and apply credit-based metering
- To process payments and apply credits (Stripe, Apple IAP)
- To enrich entities you reference (entity grounding) for higher-fidelity simulation output
- To communicate product updates, if you opted in
- To respond to support, demo, and enterprise inquiries
- To monitor service health, detect abuse, and protect the integrity of the Clockchain public graph
3. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored on Railway-hosted infrastructure with encrypted connections (TLS in transit, encryption at rest where supported by the provider). We do not sell your data.
Generated content: Simulation queries, generated TDFs (the JSON-LD documents that represent a moment), and generated images are persisted by default so you can revisit them. Find Money runs (goal, sourced opportunities, quick-sim TDFs, your selections, and deep-sim results) are stored against your account.
The Clockchain: Nodes you choose to contribute to the public causal graph are stored in our temporal graph database and are visible to other users. Private timepoints stay private to your account.
Character chat history: Conversations with AI-rendered characters are stored against your account so you can resume them.
Generated images: Served through our image proxy at api.timepointai.com with WebP transcoding and a 7-day edge cache.
4. Open Source and Self-Hosted Usage
Timepoint Flash, the Clockchain, the TDF schema, SNAG-Bench, Proteus, and the MCP server are open source under Apache 2.0. When self-hosted, no data is transmitted to Timepoint AI. We have no visibility into self-hosted usage. Timepoint Pro — along with the Pro Cloud SNAG runner and entity-grounding components — is proprietary and closed source, and is offered only as a hosted service.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Railway — infrastructure hosting (compute, Postgres, Redis)
- OpenRouter — LLM API routing for Flash, Pro Cloud, and grounding (provider models include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity)
- Stripe — credit purchases and subscription billing for web
- Apple In-App Purchase — credit purchases on iOS
- SendGrid — transactional email (account, billing, support replies)
- Google OAuth, Apple Sign In, GitHub OAuth — federated authentication; we receive the basic profile fields you authorize (email, name, identifier)
- X / Twitter API — public posts and profile metadata for entity grounding (read-only)
- Public web search — via OpenRouter-routed search-grounded models, for entity grounding and Find Money opportunity sourcing
- Sentry, PostHog, Logfire — error tracking, product analytics, and backend tracing
- Google Fonts — typography
Each service has its own privacy policy. We do not share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use a small number of first-party cookies and local-storage entries:
- Session cookies — to keep you signed in
- CSRF tokens — to protect form submissions
- Pre-authentication free-tier counter — a cookie that tracks anonymous-tier generations so you can try the product without an account
- UI preference flags — small local-storage entries that remember banner dismissals and UI state
- PostHog analytics — a first-party cookie identifying your session for product analytics; respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, retargeting, or cross-site identifiers.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@timepointai.com. You may also delete your account from the in-app Settings page, which removes your account data and revokes any connected OAuth tokens (including Google Calendar access for Skip Meetings users).
If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you additionally have the right to object to processing, request data portability, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
8. Data Retention
Account data, generated content, Find Money runs, and chat histories are retained for the lifetime of your account or until you request deletion. Public Clockchain nodes you contributed remain in the public graph after account deletion (de-identified from your account). Form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to respond. Usage logs are retained for 90 days; observability traces for 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact privacy@timepointai.com and we will delete it.
10. International Transfers
Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
