The situation

Vienna, January 1815. The plenary of the great powers is set for next week, and four delegations still disagree over Saxony and Poland. Over coffee in a side-room, the host's secretary has called the envoys together to find one text they can all sign. The Russian envoy wants a Polish kingdom bound to his court. The Prussian envoy wants a share of Saxony in return for losses on the Rhine. The Austrian envoy will accept no settlement that lets one power dominate central Europe. The British envoy wants a text the other courts will ratify and nothing that touches sea routes. Every envoy has a dispatch waiting from home, and none can be seen to yield in the plenary. You are the secretary. You win when the four envoys agree one shared text on Saxony and Poland that all of them will sign before…

What the simulation expects

No read yet for this simulation.

This is the simulation’s read, not a forecast that it is right.

How scoring works

You have 8 turns. You win by bringing the table to at least 70% support. Your points come from how much of the table you bring around, with each person counted by how much their view carries. Each turn you say one thing. The table moves on what you say; reach 70% to win. Every turn is re-checked from the moves you made, so the score can be reproduced.

A limited number of turns are free. After that, each turn costs credits. The game shows what you have left before you spend anything.
